Some photographs stand out because of a dramatic landscape or a rare moment. Others capture attention through something simpler: color, pattern, and the beauty found in nature.
I’m excited to share that my photograph “Tulips” has been selected as a finalist in a VIEWBUG photography contest.
A Garden Full of Color
For this image, I filled the frame with brilliant pink tulips surrounded by deep green leaves. Instead of focusing on a single bloom, I wanted to capture the energy created by the entire group.
Each flower is a little different. Some are fully open, some are still unfolding, and others rise above the garden around them. Together, they create a scene filled with color, texture, and the unmistakable feeling of spring.
From Photograph to Finalist
Being selected as a finalist makes this photograph especially meaningful. With so many images entered into photography competitions, having “Tulips” advance and receive recognition is an honor.
Photography has taught me to pay attention to scenes that might otherwise last only a moment. Flowers change quickly, seasons move on, and the view you see today may look completely different tomorrow. Capturing those fleeting moments is one of the reasons I continue to love photography.
I’m grateful to VIEWBUG for recognizing “Tulips,” and to everyone who continues to follow and support my photography.
