For my birthday, my wonderful husband surprised me with a week on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, including a visit to Provincetown Cape Cod, which was absolutely delightful. He planned it for the week after Labor Day, so the crowds had all died down, but the weather was still perfect. Warmish in the day and coolish at night. We could see all the nice sailboats going past between us and Martha’s Vineyard.
One day, we decided to make a trip all the way to the end of the Cape to the iconic Provincetown, a vibrant festive place that the LGBT communities have enjoyed visiting and partying like its 1999 still. (Yes, I am a lifelong Prince fan.) We have many friends in the community and were so thrilled to finally visit it, exploring Provincetown Cape Cod in all its glory.
