This Montana Hiking Trail Is One Of The Best Places To View Summer Wildflowers

It’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite season in Montana, but summer is high on the list. Lakes and rivers let us cool down, while hiking trails through the forest offer the perfect amount of shade. Summer is all about taking our time, enjoying a meal outside, and long drives with the windows down. It’s for taking in the breeze that reminds us why it’s so great to be in Big Sky Country when the weather gets warmer. One other benefit of enjoying summer here is the wildflowers that can be found in every corner of the state. Wildflowers in Montana can be found everywhere, but there’s one simple trail that offers some of the most beautiful.

Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park in Whitehall is about 3,000 acres. The park offers visitors the chance to explore about ten miles of trails for hiking as well as the limestone caverns the park is named after. There’s also a campground.
