A partnership between Slide Rock State Park and Historic Brewing Company resulted in a craft beer launch with a tasting event you won’t want to miss.
A beloved Arizona landmark is getting its own special brew. Historic Brewing Company has unveiled a new craft beer celebrating Slide Rock State Park. The beer combines Sedona’s natural splendor with locally sourced coffee in a unique blonde coffee stout that pays tribute to one of Arizona’s most popular outdoor destinations.
Special release event details
The new specialty beer will make its official debut at a tasting event hosted at Slide Rock State Park on April 11, 2025. From 6:30 to 9 p.m., visitors can enjoy an evening featuring beer tastings, live music, and wood-fired pizza from Pizzicletta. The $30 admission includes two complimentary beer tastings and access to a guided program highlighting the park’s homestead history. Attendees will also have the chance to win a Flagstaff staycation package through a raffle drawing.

This collaboration marks the second release in a series between Arizona State Parks and Trails and Historic Brewing Company. John Kennelly, co-founder of Kennelly Family Concepts, Inc., praised the new brew, stating, “This specialty brew tastes amazing thanks to locally roasted coffee from Sedona’s own Freeform Coffee, and it’s the perfect way to honor one of Arizona’s most treasured outdoor destinations.”
