Nebraska is not known for having very many major tourist attractions – but there are still some things to see and do there while on a road trip. One of the more unusual attractions is Carhenge – a replica of England’s neolithic Stonehenge using cars. There is much more to see in Nebraska than just its expansive cornfields.
Carhenge is not the only replica of Stonehenge in the United States. In Washington State, visitors can see the Maryhill Stonehenge made out of concrete. The Maryhill Stonehenge was constructed when Stonehenge was poorly understood (at the time it was thought to have been a sacrificial site).
