That’s exactly what we asked our audience:
If someone had never been to Maine before and you could only take them to ONE place, where are you bringing them first?
The response was overwhelming. More than 1,000 people weighed in, recommending everything from famous landmarks and charming coastal towns to hidden gems that don’t always make the travel guides. After sorting through all of the responses, we narrowed the list down to the 16 destinations that were mentioned the most.
