I’m excited to share that my photograph “Snow-Kissed Bison: Antelope Island Bison” ranked #9 in the Animal Kingdom Photo Contest.
This image features a powerful bison standing in the open grassland of Antelope Island, with snow-covered mountains rising in the background. I loved the contrast in this scene — the strength and texture of the bison in the foreground, the soft golden grasses around it, and the cool blue-and-white mountains behind it.
Antelope Island is such a remarkable place for wildlife photography. The wide-open landscape, changing weather, and natural beauty create the perfect setting for moments like this. Seeing a bison in its environment is always unforgettable, but this particular scene felt especially striking with the snowy peaks adding such a dramatic backdrop.
Being recognized in the Animal Kingdom Photo Contest is truly an honor. I’m grateful to have this image included and thankful for the continued support of my photography.
