I’m excited to share that my photograph “Golden Sunflower at Antelope Island” ranked #7 in the UNFILTERED Magazine Photo Contest.
This image captures a bright yellow sunflower standing against a soft blue mountain and sky backdrop at Antelope Island. I loved the contrast between the golden petals and the peaceful, blurred landscape behind it. There was something simple but beautiful about the way the flower seemed to reach toward the light, full of warmth, color, and quiet strength.
Antelope Island is one of those places that always offers something unexpected. Between the wide-open views, natural textures, wildlife, and changing light, it is a beautiful place to slow down and notice the details. This sunflower felt like one of those small but memorable moments that deserved to be photographed.
