The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is the largest balloon festival in the world. I have been to it twice since beginning my RV travels in Albuquerque. There is nothing like waking up with my coffee to the view of dozens of vibrant hot air balloons filling the sky above my RV. It’s truly breathtaking.
During Albuquerque’s annual balloon fiesta, the sky transforms into a breathtaking canvas of color and movement. The fiesta in flight comes alive as many hot air balloons gracefully dance above the fairgrounds. Each adds its own color and design to the aerial show. No single balloon steals the spotlight; instead, they all come together to create a spectacular display of harmony and celebration.
I was there, camera in hand, seeking to capture this ensemble performance. The balloons, some with intricate shapes and others in bright colors, all went up together but drifted on their own air currents. This vivid scene took place in the beautiful skies of Albuquerque.
